1st Lichfield Company
Our Company has suffered in numbers since the Covid pandemic, and it has been deemed not viable to continue with the following exception:
Seniors 14-18 years (Year 10 to Year 13)
We have given opportunities to the Seniors use the skills they have developed during their time in the Company, to plan their own programme with the aim of getting them to complete their President's Badge by July 2024, after which the Company would, unfortunately cease to meet.
HOWEVER- The Boys have asked to continue with the Marching Band, which has been going for more than 40 years, with a variety of instruments, as long as there is a purpose to doing so - that being to provide music for an Annual Remembrance Parade for the British Legion in Alrewas on 10th November 2024.
Closing Service of Celebration.
The Company will then close with a Service celebrating the influence 1st Lichfield BB has had on the Boys of the City and surrounds for the past 47 years, at 10.30am on Sunday 17th November at Lichfield Methodist Church.
